Hello Friends and Family,
The GSP is now officially over and life is returning to normal. Many lives were changed this summer including that of Todani’s whom I mentioned in my last email. I asked Todani how he is going to apply what he has learned this summer to his life back home. His response was to quote the Nike slogan of “Just Do It.” Todani has allowed fear to cripple him and inhibit him from pursuing his relationship with God and those around him. He has allowed it to keep him from doing his schoolwork thus not allowing him to graduate. He has decided to jump into whatever God brings his way with full abandon trusting that God will catch him. It reminds me of when I learned how to jump into the deep end of the pool into my dad’s arms. I had to trust him completely. I would close my eyes and jump in hoping and trusting that he would catch me. How often do we all forget to do the same with our Heavenly Father? Please be in prayer for Todani as he forgets his fears and jumps into the Fathers arms. And may I encourage you (myself included) to do the same with our lives. Thank you for your prayers!
